Eloise du Luart had her first professional season in 2018, but had already established her sporting credentials with a string of podiums on the amateur circuit, including a gold at the Duathlon World Championships won barely six months after getting into multisports. Since then she has competed in a number of duathlons and triathlons in the UK and Europe.
While her 2019 performance has been overshadowed by injury, she has big plans for 2020 and onwards, including establishing herself firmly on the professional Ironman 70.3 circuit.
Du Luart has spoken openly about dealing with anorexia – an area of expertise for several members of the Forth Edge medical team – and knows first-hand how important balancing nutrition with activity is for overall health and performance.
