When Tom Evans exploded on the Ultra Running circuit in 2017, he was more or less unknown. The former British Army Captain had only recently started ultra-running when he placed third at the Marathon des Sables that year, the best result of any European athlete since the legendary event began.
The performance was no fluke, and in 2018 Tom went on to win the CCC event at the Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc (UTMB), the Coastal Challenge Costa Rica event and place third in the Trail Running World Championships.
The podiums keep clocking up, with third place finishes at the Western States 100 Mile Run and the Lake Sonoma 50 event in 2019.
Tom combines an immense natural talent with a training regime that is firmly rooted in sports science. Forth Edge allows him to monitor how his heavy training load affects his body, identify areas of concern before they become an issue and ensure his body is getting what it needs to perform to the highest level at some of the toughest events in the world.
