Three steps to optimal performance

Test

  • Choose the subscription package which is most suited to your sport or activity.
  • We’ll send you a finger-prick sample kit which will arrive within 2 working days through your letterbox.
  • Collect your blood sample at home and simply post it direct to our lab in the pre-paid envelope.
  • As your order is part of a subscription package, a new kit will be sent to you at the frequency you requested.  You can change the date, pause or cancel your subscription online at any time.

Track

  • Your results will be available within days of receiving your sample on your secure online Forth dashboard.
  • We’ll give you easy-to-understand information on each biomarker and show you exactly where you fall on the range.
  • Once you’ve established your baseline numbers, by testing regularly you can track how your markers change according to training load and diet.

Optimise

  • Make changes to your training load and diet to optimise your markers.
  • We’ll give you some tips on the type of foodstuffs which can improve some markers
  • Share your results with sports nutritionists or performance coaches

I ran my first marathon in 2014 which left me feeling exhausted and constantly unwell.  What I didn’t know then was that my iron and vitamin D levels were incredibly low.  I wasn’t going to make the same mistake again.  By using Forth to test key biomarkers in the preparation for the London marathon has given me the confidence to get on with my training, as well as putting me in control of the areas I need to improve.  I’ll be testing again after my race to see how all the hard training has affected my numbers.
